» The Huskies are back on the east cost following a tip to Milwaukee for the Holiday Face
Off Tournament. The Huskies beat Alaska in the opening game of the tournament before
falling to Wisconsin in the Championship game by a final of 4-3.
» The Huskies will hit the road to travel to Massachusetts to face off against Harvard.
This will be the third matchup between the two teams, with the series currently split
with both teams winning one game.
» UConn came away with a 4-2 victory on New Years eve last season in which the game
was labeled the Jake-Trick with three Jake's scoring for the Huskies.
» UConn will look to start off 2025 strong before returning to Hockey East action. Fol-
lowing the matchup against Harvard, UConn will play in the CT Ice Tournament before
wrapping up their non-conference schedule against Alaska Anchorage.
» Sophomore Joey Muldowney is coming off one of his best weekends in a UConn uni-
form. The Sophomore scored two goals while assisting on two others.
» The Huskies now have five skaters in double digits for total points. Sophomore Jey
Muldowney leads the way, followed by Jake Richard, Ryan Tattle, Hudson Schandor
and Jake Percival.
» The quest to 100 career points. Hudson Schandor is currently four points away from
reaching 100 points for his career. Schandor currently 2nd in program history in the
Hockey East Era with 96 total points, only trailing Jachym Kondelik who finished his
UConn career with 104 points.
» Short Handed Strengths: The Huskies are currently tied for first in the country with 5
short handed goals scored.
» The Huskies have received a point from 23 total skaters. Of the 20, 11 are new members
of the Ice Bus.
» Huskies in the NHL: Chase Bradley has become the 8th Husky to reach the pros, hav-
ing most recently been called up by the Colorado Avalanche. He joins, Rulsan Iskha-
kov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov, Adam Huska, and
Tage Thompson as former Huskies to make it to the league.
