» The UConn men's hockey team will head to Boston Massachusetts for a matchup

against Boston University in the Hockey East Semifinals at the TD Garden.

» This will be the Huskies second ever trip to the TD Garden for the Hockey East Championships. The Huskies defeated Northeastern before falling to Massachusetts in OT in

the Championship game in 2021-22.

» The Huskies are coming off a quarterfinal win over no.7 Providence at the Toscano

Family Ice Forum. Hudson Schandor and Joey Muldowney scored for the Huskies while

» This will be the third matchup between the two teams this season which resulted in an

0-1-1 season series for the Huskies.

» Huskies Power Play: Comparing the Huskies Power Play units from last season to this

season the Huskies have a +8 PPG differential and a +9.5% Power Play Percentage differential. The Huskies are just one of 7 teams to have surpassed their total PPG numbers

from last season.

» Jake Richard has found his stride of late extending his point streak to 11 straight games,

meanwhile his linemate Joey Muldowney has been on a hot streak registering a point in

10 straight games and 17 of the last 20.

» Record Breakers: Hudson Schandor and John Spetz both made UConn history this

season. Schandor surpassed Jachym Kondelik, becoming the leader for total points in

the Hockey East era, while John Spetz surpassed Joe Masonius for most points by a

defenseman in the Hockey East era.

» Record Breakers pt.2: Hudson Schandor once again inked his name in UConn record

books as he broke the program record for most assists in a single season in the Hockey

East Era. Additionally, Joey Muldowney broke the record for most goals scored in a

single season in the Hockey East Era with 20+ goals. Muldowney passed Tage Thompson who finished the season with 19 goals scored.

» Huskies in the NHL: Marc Gatcomb has become the 9th Husky to reach the pros, having most recently been called up by the New York Islanders. Gatcomb joins, Chase

Bradley, Ruslan Iskhakov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov,
