9 Huskies Named to All-Academic Team
STORRS, Conn. - The Hockey East Association announced their annual academic awards for the 2023-24 season with 9 Huskies selected to earn All-Academic team honors.
Hockey East announced that a record 204 student-athletes have been named to the Men's All-Academic team. Each student-athlete achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better in each of the two academic periods during which he was actively competing.
Of the 9 Huskies selected, rising junior Tabor Heaslip (Frisco, Texas), Tom Messineo (Westwood, Mass.) and Jake Percival (Avon, Conn.) were named two-time honorees. Recent graduate student Harrison Rees (Oakville, Ontario) was also named a two-time honoree.
Earning the academic honor for the first was Oliver Flynn (Wolcott, Conn.), Andrew Lucas (Alexandria, VA.), Joey Muldowney (Lake View, New York), and Bauer Swift (West Hartford, Conn.).
