» After hearing their name called on Selection Sunday, the UConn men's hockey team will

be making their first ever NCAA Appearance as they head to the Allentown Regional to

Face Quinnipiac in the first round.

» The Allentown Regional has familiar foes as the Huskies have already faced Quinnipiac

and Maine.

» The Huskies reached the Hockey East Championship game this season after beating

Providence (3-1) and Boston University (5-2) before falling to Maine (5-2).

» Huskies Power Play: Comparing the Huskies Power Play units from last season to this

season the Huskies have a +8 PPG differential and a +9.5% Power Play Percentage differential. The Huskies are just one of 7 teams to have surpassed their total PPG numbers

from last season.

» Jake Richard has found his stride of late scoring a point in 13 of 14 games, meanwhile

his linemate Joey Muldowney has been on a hot streak registering a point in 12 of 13

games.

» Coming into this season, the Huskies only had one 40-point scorer in the Hockey east

Era. They now have 3 (Joey Muldowney, Hudson Schandor and Jake Richard) following the Hockey East Tournament.

» Record Breakers: Hudson Schandor and John Spetz both made UConn history this

season. Schandor surpassed Jachym Kondelik, becoming the leader for total points in

the Hockey East era, while John Spetz surpassed Joe Masonius for most points by a

defenseman in the Hockey East era.

» Record Breakers pt.2 : Hudson Schandor once again inked his name in UConn record

books as he broke the program record for most assists in a single season in the Hockey

East Era. Additionally, Joey Muldowney broke the record for most goals scored in a

single season in the Hockey East Era with 20+ goals. Muldowney passed Tage Thompson who finished the season with 19 goals scored.
