MHOC Announces 2024-25 Schedule
STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's hockey team has announced their schedule for the 2024-25 season. The 34-game regular slate includes 16 home games, a 24-game Hockey East schedule, and an appearance at the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off in Milwaukee.
The Huskies will host 12 home games at the Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs this season with the remaining four games being played at the XL Center in Hartford. The Huskies will host Holy Cross, Vermont, Providence and UMass Lowell in their downtown Hartford home.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 2024-25 season and can be purchased at UConnTickets.com or by calling 877-AT-UCONN. A season ticket package will include all regular season games in both Storrs and Hartford.
The Huskies will kick things off at the Toscano Family Ice Forum with a two-game series beginning on Saturday, Oct. 5 against Colgate. UConn will continue the non-conference slate on Oct. 11 as they welcome Holy Cross to the XL Center to kick off a home and home series with the Crusaders.
UConn opens Hockey East play with games on the road against 2024 NCAA Tournament participants Boston University (Oct. 18) and Massachusetts (Oct. 25), before returning home to welcome the Minutemen (Oct. 26). The Huskies will host Vermont at the XL Center and Toscano Family Ice Forum for a two game homestand (Nov. 2-3) followed by a home and home series at Merrimack (Nov. 8 and 9). UConn will close out the first semester with three of four games on the road, beginning at home with 2024 national runner-up Boston College (Nov.15) followed by two games at UMass Lowell (Nov. 22-23) and a trip to Chestnut Hill for another matchup against the Eagles (Dec. 4).
To start the second half, UConn will head to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off tournament. The Huskies are joined by Wisconsin, Ferris State and Alaska with matchups for the tournament to be announced at a later date. The Huskies will play one non-conference game on Jan. 4 against Harvard before returning to Hockey East action for a home and home against New Hampshire (Jan.10-11).
The Huskies will then travel to Maine for a two-game road trip (Jan.17-18) before returning for the CT Ice Tournament (Jan. 24-25) hosted by Sacred Heart. The Huskies, host Pioneers, Quinnipiac and Yale will face-off for state bragging rights in the fifth edition of the Nutmeg State tourney.
The Huskies will wrap up the month of January on the road as they take on the Providence Friars (Jan. 31 and Feb. 1) in a home and home series. The Huskies will remain at home for Hockey East matchups against Massachusetts (Feb. 7), and UMass Lowell (Feb. 8), before wrapping up their non-conference slate against Alaska Anchorage (Feb. 12).
It's Hockey East action the rest of the way as the Huskies will play single games against Maine (Feb. 21) and Boston University (Feb. 25) before the final home game of the regular season against Northeastern (Feb. 28).
UConn will close out the regular season on the road with matchups at Northeastern (Mar. 1) and Vermont (Mar. 6).
