Huskies Earn First Bid into NCAA Tournament

STORRS, Conn. -  The UConn men's hockey team will be making their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance as they will travel to the Allentown Regional to take on in-state rival Quinnipiac in the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Puck drop is set for 5pm on ESPNU

This is the Huskies first ever bid to the NCAA Tournament. UConn fell in the Championship game of the Hockey East Tournament Friday evening falling to Maine by a final of 5-2.

UConn and Quinnipiac have already faced off against each other this season in the CT Ice Tournament. The first matchup was an instant classic with Ryan Tattle scoring the game winning goal with five seconds left in regulation.
