STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's hockey team is slated to play the second playoff game at a sold out Toscano Family Ice Forum Friday March 14, as they welcome Providence for the no.4 vs. no. 5 seed matchup in the Hockey East Playoffs.
The quarterfinal matchup will be the standalone Hockey East playoff game. The game can be watched live on NESN at 7pm. The Huskies finished the regular season with a win over Vermont securing the number four seed in Hockey East as well as their third 20-win season out of the last four years.
The Hockey East semifinals are set for 4:00pm and 7:30pm on Thursday, March 20 at TD Garden in Boston, while the 40th championship game will be played Friday, March 21 at 7:30pm. All three games will air in their entirety on NESN+.
