Ray Dennehy Tabbed BIG EAST Golfer of the Week
STORRS, Conn. - UConn junior Ray Dennehy (Princeton, MA) was named the BIG EAST Men's Golfer of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.
Dennehy tied for medalist honors at Surf Club Invite in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with a 10-under 203 (70-64-69). His second round 64 is the lowest round by a Husky this season and is tied for the second lowest round in program history. The junior finished the tournament with 13 birdies and one eagle. Dennehy led the Huskies to their third team victory in 2023-24. The team finished with a three-round score of 825 (-27).
The Huskies will return to action at the Pathway to Progression tournament on March 25 and 26 at Silverado Resort in Napa, California.
