STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's golf team heads to Penn State this weekend to take part in the 47th Annual Rutherford Intercollegiate tournament in what will be their final competitive tune-up ahead of the BIG EAST Championship in two weeks.

The Huskies will hit the course against the likes of the host Nittany Lions as well as Binghamton, Colgate, Delaware, Eastern Michigan, FGCU, George Mason, Georgetown, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Temple, Towson, and Valparaiso.
UConn's lineup this weekend will feature junior Ray Dennehy (Princeton, Mass.) at the top and freshmen Alex Heard (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Bradley Sawka (Ellington, Conn.), and seniors Tommy Dallahan (Simsbury, Conn.) and Jimmy Paradise (Tampa, Fla.) rounding out their top-five. Sophomore Connor Goode (Glastonbury, Conn.) will compete as an individual.
The Huskies are coming off a fifth-place finish at the weather shortened Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate, finishing the two-round event shooting even par as a team (293-283=576).
