UConn Football Announces 2024 Game Themes & Single Game and Flex Pack Tickets On Sale Now
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn football program have announced the game themes for all home games at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field this fall including the addition of "County Days" throughout the 2024 home slate.
2024 season tickets, two-game and three-game flex packs, group tickets, and single game tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting UConnTickets.com.
The 2024 season will see the Huskies play seven home games in East Hartford for the first time since the 2016 season. UConn will kick-off their home slate on Saturday, September 7th hosting Merrimack College before kicking-off a stretch of six-straight home games, their longest homestand in the program's 21-year history playing at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
The Huskies open their homestand against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, September 21st and then host Buffalo, Temple, Wake Forest, Rice and Georgia State.

2024 Home Opener
September 7 vs. Merrimack – 12 noon
- Join us at Rentschler Field as the Huskies kick-off their 2024 football season.
- UConn student tickets are free to all students across all campuses enrolled in the Fall 2024 semester. Visit the Student Tickets page for more information on the ticketing process. Student tickets will be available for claim starting on Monday, August 26th.
Huskies & Heroes
September 21 vs. Florida Atlantic – 7 pm
- UConn Athletics would like to extend an invitation to all active military service members and veterans from all branches as we celebrate Huskies & Heroes Day.
- UConn Football student-athletes will show their support for the heroes in UConn Nation through the addition of a "Huskies & Heroes" decal to their helmets for this game.
- Throughout the game, images of military members from the UConn community will be featured on the videoboard. If you would like to feature yourself or a loved one, please fill out this form.
Junior Husky Club Day
September 28 vs. Buffalo – 12 noon
- All children (12 and under) are invited to Rentschler Field for our annual Junior Husky Club Day.
- A poster-making station, coloring pages, yard games, face painter, and more will be available to Junior Huskies in attendance.
- Members of the Junior Husky Club receive benefits including a monthly newsletter, complimentary admission to select UConn Athletics games, and more!

Crucial Catch – Cancer Awareness
October 5 vs. Temple – 3:30 pm
- The UConn football team will dedicate a game to recognizing those who have been impacted by cancer through the annual Crucial Catch Day.
- Members of the program will highlight a specific form of cancer that has affected their family through the addition of cancer awareness helmet decals.
- Throughout the game, UConn Athletics will feature images of those from the UConn community who have been affected by cancer on the videoboard. If you would like to feature yourself or a loved one, please fill out this form.
Throwback Game
October 19 vs. Wake Forest – 12 noon
- Celebrate all the memorable moments in UConn history. Wear your favorite vintage Husky gear, enjoy throwback music, and more.
Homecoming
October 26 vs. Rice – 3:30 pm
- UConn Athletics would like to extend a warm welcome back to all of our Husky Alumni for our annual Homecoming game.
Senior Night
November 1 vs. Georgia State – 7 pm
- Wrap up the 2024 home football season with the Huskies as UConn Athletics honors the graduating seniors of the UConn football program on Senior Night.
- Make sure to arrive early for our pre-game ceremony as we thank them for their contributions to the program.
County Days
During each home game in the 2024 season, UConn Athletics will recognize a county in Connecticut. Youth organizations, educators, PTO/PTAs, first responders, and more are encouraged to join in on their respective County Day. The full County Day schedule can be found with each game below.

- Huskies Kick-Off Spring PracticeSTORRS, Conn. - The UConn football team under fourth-year head coach Jim Mora kicked-off their 2025 spring practices on Tuesday morning at the Mark R. Shenkman Training Center for the first of 15 practices over the next two months.
