Creighton Evens Up Series With Huskies

OMAHA - The UConn baseball team (13-16, 2-3 BIG EAST) lost 14-2 against Creighton on Saturday afternoon at Charles Schwab Field.

Rob Rispoli led the way with his ninth multi-hit game of the season and reached in all five at-bats.

Ryan Daniels reached three times including a two-run double in the seventh. 

LHP Cayden Suchy pitched 1.1 innings and had to leave with an injury in the second inning. RHP Thomas Ellisen pitched 4.0 innings of relief. 

Evan Hamerberger pitched 2.0 innings out of the pen and Thomas Galusha collected a pair of outs in his appearance. 

Next up, the Huskies and Bluejays will play the rubber game of the series on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. CT.
