As March arrives, the UConn Huskies are gearing up for an exciting postseason, with both the men's and women's basketball teams set to compete in the BIG EAST Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. To rally fan support and bolster resources for student-athletes, UConn has launched the MARCH. FIGHT. WIN! pledge-per-win campaign.
The campaign invites Husky Nation to pledge financial support based on the number of postseason victories by UConn's basketball programs. Fans can pledge a set amount of $20.25 — symbolizing the current year — or customize their pledge amount. Contributions will be charged at the conclusion of each tournament, multiplying the pledged amount by the total number of wins between both teams. For example, a pledge of $50 per win with five combined victories would result in a $250 total contribution.
All funds raised through MARCH. FIGHT. WIN! will benefit the Fight on Fund, an unrestricted, current-use resource that enables UConn Athletics to direct support where it's needed most in pursuit of competitive excellence. Additionally, every contribution will qualify for DOUBLE POINTS in UConn's ongoing donor bonus program.
