STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's tennis team continues their success in the BIG EAST as they defeat DePaul Friday afternoon. This is the first win over DePual in program history for the Huskies.
With the win the Huskies remain undefeated in BIG EAST action and improve to 14-2 overall. UConn started the match strong, taking two of the three doubles matchups, with wins in the no.2 and no.3 doubles. UConn's success carried into the singles matchups as they were able to successfully defeat DePaul with from Olivia Wright, Cameron Didion, Chloe Lomans and Isabella Asenov.
The Huskies will be back in action Sunday, April 6 at 10am as they welcome Villanova to Connecticut. The Huskies will be honoring Olivia Wright, Isabel Petri Bere and Maria Constantinou and all their accomplishments Sunday for senior day.
