Huskies Set to Host URI

STORRS, Conn. -  The UConn women's swimming and diving team is back in action as they welcome the University of Rhode Island to Wolff-Zackin Natatorium, Saturday November 9. The meet is set to begin at 1pm.

The Huskies return home following a dual meet loss to Northeastern University. The Huskies swam hard and had positive results, but Northeastern finished the meet strong to take down the Huskies. UConn will look to get back on track this weekend as they welcome Rhode Island who currently sits at 2-1 overall.

Rhode Island is coming off a 1-0 weekend which featured a win over BIG East opponent Providence by a final of 171.5-103.5. Rhode Island won 13 of the 14 events in which they scored points. These two teams faced off last year which resulted in a 162-133 win for the Huskies.

Following the meet against URI, the Huskies will have time off before heading to Pennsylvania for the Bucknell Invitational.
