STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's golf team returns to action this weekend and also returns to tournament stroke play when they take part in the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Dorado, Puerto Rico.

The three round tournament gets underway on Sunday at the TPC Dorado Beach Sugarcane course.  Sunday and Monday's rounds will tee off at 8 a.m. AST and the final round on Tuesday will get underway at 8:30 a.m. AST.

The Huskies will face App State, Army, Ball State, Bryant, George Mason, Illinois State, James Madison, Loyola, UNC Greensboro, Old Dominion, Southern Mississippi, Temple, Valparaiso, Winthrop, and Wofford at this year's event.

UConn will field the lineup of senior Ray Dennehy (Princeton, NJ), junior Connor Goode (Glastonbury, CT), sophomore Bradley Sawka (Ellington, CT), senior Eric Boulger (Walpole, MA) and sophomore Alex Heard (Boca Raton, FL) with senior Vikram Konanki (Newton, MA) playing as an individual.

The Huskies kicked-off the spring season at the BIG EAST Match-Play event earlier this month.  UConn came in second posting a 2-1 mark and were led by Heard who finished with an unbeaten 2-0-1 mark over the three matches.

This week's tournament is the first of five this spring leading up to the BIG EAST Championship at the end of April.  Following this week's event in Puerto Rico, the Huskies will next play in the Surf Club Invitational  in North Myrtle Beach, SC, an event they won last season.
