Huskies Set for Action Packed Weekend
STORRS. Conn - The UConn women's field hockey team is back in action this weekend as they hit the road for a BIG EAST matchup against Providence College, before returning home to welcome no.14 UMass Amherst to Storrs.
The Huskies will hit the road to take on Providence College Friday Oct. 18 at 3:00pm for another BIG EAST battle. The Huskies currently sit at 4-0 in the BIG EAST and have yet to allow a goal in conference play. The Huskies are 12-1 overall, coming off a one game matchup against Quinnipiac University.
Providence enters the matchup vs. the Huskies 5-8 overall and 1-3 in conference action. The friars are coming off a one game matchup vs. the Temple Owls in which they fell by a final of 1-0.
Following the matchup with the Friars, the Huskies will welcome no.14 UMass to Storrs. The match is set to begin at 1pm and can be streamed live on UConn+. UMass currently sits at 11-3 overall and is coming off a 2-0 weekend which featured wins over La Salle and Lafayette. Pre game the Huskies will be honoring their graduate student Lila Browne.

Doga Kutlu controlled the offensive attack with 51 assists (8.50/set).
