Glenn Marshall Named BIG EAST Coach of the Year
STORRS, Conn. - Director of Tennis Glenn Marshall has been named the BIG EAST Coach of the Year for the 2024-25 season, as announced by the BIG EAST Conference Thursday afternoon.
Coach Marshall completed one of the best seasons in UConn tennis history finishing with a 16-5 overall record and a 9-1 record in conference action. During the regular season, Coach Marshall logged his 500-career victory, and helped UConn secure the #1 seed in the field, the program's highest-ever seeding in the BIG EAST Tournament. During the 2024-25 season, Marshall led the Huskies to other program firsts including wins over St. Johns, Xavier and DePaul.
This is the first Coach of The Year award in program history for the Huskies.
