Huskies Post Strong Results at UConn Invitational
STORRS, Conn. - In their second invitational of the fall 2024 season the UConn women's tennis team built off their strong showing from the Quinnipiac Invitational and showed good results at their lone home matches of the fall.
On the opening day of the UConn Invitational, the Huskies faced off against Wesleyan, followed by Fordham on day two and Army on the final day.
One consistent through the weekend was that the UConn doubles pairings continued to impress. On day one of the Invitational, the Huskies were dominant, winning every single matchup they were in against Wesleyan. Fordham and the Huskies ended up splitting their single matchups on day two, with each team having three victors, and on the final day UConn won six of the seven single matchups.
