Beran and Lane Named to BIG EAST All-Tournament Team
VILLANOVA, Pa.- Sophomore defender and 2025 BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year Abby Beran (Wading River, N.Y.) and graduate student defender Meghan Lane (Wilton, Conn.) were named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team, the conference announced following the Saturday championship game.
In the BIG EAST semifinal against Villanova, Beran led the Huskies with five ground balls, adding three draw controls and three ground balls. Lane contributed four ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls against the Wildcats.
