NEW YORK – UConn women's basketball alumna Paige Bueckers will attend the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City.

The draft will air at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN with coverage beginning at 7 p.m.

UConn has had 47 WNBA college draft selections since the league's inception in 1997. The Huskies have had 27 first-round picks in the league's history, which is the most of any collegiate program. This season is potentially the 17th time multiple Huskies will be taken in the same draft.

Bueckers is one of three UConn players who are eligible for the 2025 WNBA Draft along with Kaitlyn Chen and Aubrey Griffin. The trio led UConn to the 2025 NCAA Championship.

The projected No. 1 pick, Bueckers finished her collegiate career as UConn's leader in career scoring average (19.8 points per game) and ranks No. 3 in career points (2,439).

Bueckers earned the Wooden Award, Wade Trophy, Naismith Trophy, AP National Player of the Year, USBWA National Player of the Year and Nancy Lieberman National Point Guard of the Year during her career. She is a three-time consensus First Team All-American, three-time BIG EAST Player of the Year, three-time All-BIG EAST First Team, four-time NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team and three-time BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

Bueckers graduated in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in human development and family sciences.

Chen transferred to UConn for the 2024-25 season after spending four seasons at Princeton. She started all 40 games for the Huskies this season. Chen compiled 1,553 points and 494 assists in her collegiate career. She was the 2023 Ivy League Player of the Year and a two-time First Team All-Ivy selection as well as a 2024 WBCA Honorable Mention All-American.

Chen earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Princeton in 2024. She will graduate with a master's degree in sport management from UConn in May.

Griffin compiled 986 points and 680 rebounds in her five seasons played at UConn. She returned from injury this season to be a key player for the Huskies off the bench in their championship run. Griffin was a 2023 All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention selection and averaged career highs with 11.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game as a junior.

Griffin graduated with a bachelor's degree in women's studies from UConn in 2023.
