STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team has revealed its 2024 schedule with 18 regular season games including 11 opportunities to see the Huskies at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.
The Huskies closed the 2023 season with a 10-win season that featured a third-place finish (6-1-3) in the BIG EAST and a trip to the conference semifinals.
The season begins with a pair of home exhibitions games with games against Holy Cross (Aug. 6) and CCSU (Aug. 10) to prepare for the regular season.
UConn opens the regular season at home with a match-up on August against Vermont. The non-conference scheduled features a couple match-ups at home against NCAA Tournament regulars Wisconsin (Aug. 22) and Texas A&M (Sept. 15). Other non-conference home games consist of Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 5), URI (Sept. 8) and Yale (Sept. 12). The road portion of the non-conference features trips to New Hampshire (Aug. 25) and Boston University (Sept. 1).
BIG EAST play starts on the road with the first two conference matches at St. John's (Sept. 22) and at Xavier (Sept. 26).
The BIG EAST home opener brings the 2023 BIG EAST Tournament champion Georgetown Hoyas to town for a Sunday, Sept. 29 contest.
The Huskies remaining BIG EAST home games are against Providence (Oct. 3), Butler (Oct. 17), DePaul (Oct. 24) and Seton Hall (Oct. 27). The last three road games are at Creighton (Oct. 6), Marquette (Oct. 13) and Villanova (Oct. 20).
The 2024 BIG EAST Championship begins with first round games on Nov. 3 and the semifinals and championship games are set for Nov. 7 and 10.
