Quote from Director of Track & Field Beth Alford-Sullivan:
"These Huskies were on today. We had a tremendous environment for our last regular season home meet at the Northeast Challenge. The weather came through and perked up the team. We competed hard in every single event, school record for Marc Morrison in the long jump, multiple top-10 marks. Looks like two multi-event athletes making their dent in the NCAA rankings. Outstanding effort across the board for all of y our people. What I'm really excited about is the team atmosphere. We will regroup, get through the Penn Relays and finals, and by the middle of May, the UConn Huskies will be ready to go."
Up Next: The Huskies will head to the University of Pennsylvania to compete in the historic Penn Relays that kick off Thursday, April 24th.
