Juhl currently attends Cuthbertson High School in Waxhaw, North Carolina where she has lettered three seasons under head coach Ray Martinez. In those three seasons, she has been an All-Conference selection twice, and an All-County first teamer, ranking as the 2nd catcher in North Carolina and 13th in the southeast by Extra Innings Softball. Juhl recently received the Rising Star of the Year award in the greater Charlotte area. Last season she slashed .444/.526/.873, driving in 26 runs, and recording 14 extra base hits.
Head Coach Laura Valentino – "We are beyond excited to welcome Alexis Juhl to the UConn Softball family! As a versatile catcher and utility player, her energy, work ethic, and dynamic lefty bat will bring a level of intensity to our lineup. Alexis's passion for the game is contagious, and we can't wait to see the impact she'll make both on and off the field!"
