Huskies Set to Close Non-Conference Slate with matchup against UMass
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's tennis team is back in action Wednesday as they welcome Massachusetts to Manchester Connecticut. This will be the last non-conference matchup of the season for the Huskies.
UConn is coming off a 1-1 weekend and looking to bounce back against UMass. The Huskies took down DePaul Friday afternoon to open the weekend but suffered their first conference loss and third loss of the season Sunday against Villanova. The Huskies enter the weekend boasting a 14-3 overall record.
UMass enters the weekend with a 9-6 overall record and are currently riding a two-match win streak as they defeated Davidson and Bryant.
The Huskies are looking to end the regular season on a high note as they will close with non-conference foe UMass followed by a BIG EAST battle with St. Johns.
