KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – UConn women's basketball legend Maya Moore Irons was officially inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2024 last Saturday.

Moore is one of the most decorated basketball players, winning two NCAA Championships, four WNBA championships, two Olympic gold medals and numerous individual honors.

She was a four-time consensus All-American, three-time Wade Trophy winner, two-time Naismith Player of the Year, two-time AP College Player of the Year, two-time USBWA National Player of the Year and two-time Honda Sports Award winner at UConn.

Moore was also a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team member.

Moore led UConn to the 2009 and 2010 NCAA Championships.

Moore still holds the UConn record for career points (3,036), most points in a season (868, 2010-11) and highest scoring average (22.8, 2010-11).

After UConn, Moore was selected first in the 2011 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx. She won the 2011, '13, '15 and '17 WNBA championships with the Lynx and was the 2014 WNBA MVP. Moore was a six-time WNBA All-Star and five-time All-WNBA First Team selection.

Moore won gold with USA Basketball at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, both coached by Geno Auriemma.
