Huskies Announce 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's basketball team will once again face a tough slate as the Huskies announced their 2024-25 non-conference schedule Tuesday.
Eight of UConn's 2024-25 non-conference opponents competed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Seven opponents finished the 2023-24 season ranked in the top 36 of the NCAA NET Rankings: No. 1 South Carolina, No. 8 Notre Dame, No. 10 USC, No. 24 Louisville, No. 26 Tennessee, No. 31 Iowa State and No. 36 North Carolina.

UConn opens the season against Boston University on Thursday, Nov. 7 before hosting familiar foe South Florida on Sunday, Nov. 10.
The Huskies host Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday, Nov 20, and Holy Cross on Tuesday, Dec. 3. UConn closes its non-conference home slate against USC on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the XL Center.
The Huskies will compete in four neutral-site events this season. UConn faces North Carolina in Greensboro, N.C., on Friday, Nov. 15. The Huskies travel to the Bahamas to play two games on Nov. 25 and 27 in the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship (opponents TBA).
UConn competes against Louisville in the inaugural Women's Champions Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Huskies will once again play in the Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Showcase, facing Iowa State on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Mohegan Sun.
UConn's three non-conference road games are against staunch rivals. The Huskies take on Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., on Thursday, Dec. 12. UConn travels on Knoxville, Tenn., to face the Lady Vols on Thursday, Feb. 6 before closing non-con play against reigning NCAA Champion South Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 16.
The Huskies will play one exhibition this season, facing Fort Hays State on Sunday, Nov. 3.
