Marc Morrison Earns Second Team All-American Honors at NCAA Indoor Championships
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.- Senior jumper Marc Morrison (Orlando, Fla.) earned NCAA Division I Second Team All-American Honors in the long jump on Friday night with a jump of 7.41m on Day 1 of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Morrison finished in 12th place overall, making his second appearance at the NCAA Championships in his accomplished UConn career. Morrison also qualified in the long jump at the 2023 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where he finished 19th in the country with a jump of 7.52m. Morrison's notable improvement in jump distance encapsulates the growth and hard work he has contributed to the UConn track & field program throughout his Husky career.
