Hannah Jefcoat Announced as Track & Field Assistant Coach and Director of Operations
STORRS, Conn.- UConn Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Beth Alford-Sullivan has announced the addition of Hannah Jefcoat to the program's staff. She will join the Huskies in a hybrid role as the internal director of operations and as an assistant coach for both men's and women's track & field.
Hannah joins UConn after an illustrious track and field career at the University of Tennessee. During her time in Knoxville, she set a Tennessee school records in the pole vault of 4.34 meters in the 2021 indoor track season, and 4.19 meters in the outdoor track season.
While at Tennessee, Jefcoat was recognized on the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2019, 2020, and 2021. She was also named a USTFCCA All-America Honorable Mention in the Pole Vault in the 2019 Outdoor Season and 2021 Indoor Season. In addition, Jefcoat was named USTFCCCA Track & Field All-Academic Individual in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
In 2022, Jefcoat was the co-president of the Tennessee's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for Track & Field. Before her time at Tennessee, Jefcoat qualified for both the 2017 New Balance Nationals Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
