STORRS- UConn lacrosse bounced back in a big way on Saturday afternoon at home,  exploding for 19 goals, taking down Manhattan 19-2 at Morrone Stadium to move to 3-1 on the season. 

First Quarter: UConn: 8, Manhattan: 0

• Eliza Bowman got the Huskies started twenty-three seconds into the game, sending one past Manhattan's goalie to convert a feed from Rayea Davis
• Jenna Giardina doubled the UConn lead with an unassisted goal to get the hosts in front 2-0
• Two saves by Tori Cini kept Manhattan off the board in the opening minutes of the first 
• Karsyn Burnash fired in the third goal of the opening quarter, converting another assist from Davis to pad the Husky lead to 3-0
• Bowman tacked on with a free-position goal, her second of the afternoon as UConn maintained a comfortable four-goal advantage 
• Davis ran the lead to 6-0, with two goals in rapid succession in the closing minutes of the quarter
• Bowman completed the first quarter hat-trick, and Jenna Giardina wrapped up the first quarter with a goal as the Huskies took a commanding 8-0 lead into the second 

Second Quarter: UConn: 14, Manhattan: 1 

• Davis came out firing in the second, with three quick goals in rapid succession to turn the lead all the way up to 11-0.
• The Jaspers got on the board on a goal from Moira Marcozzi with five minutes left in the second
• Barlow Clark-Schoeb scored the first goal of her UConn career on a free-position shot
• Anna Magennis scored the 13^th goal of the half, with Clark-Schoeb's second of the afternoon to give the Huskies a 14-1 lead at the break

Third Quarter: UConn: 16, Manhattan:1

• After a goalie change for Manhattan, Eve McGrogan scored the 15^th goal of the afternoon in the third quarter
• Sofia Oximana came in for the Huskies and made multiple plays in goal to keep the Jaspers tally at 1 for the day 
• Ava Plata continued her strong start to the season with another goal to fuel the offensive even further 

Fourth Quarter: UConn: 19,  Manhattan: 2 

• Anna Zimmerman scored the first goal of the season in the opening minutes of the fourth
• Clark-Schoeb completed the hat-trick for the 18^th goal of the game for UConn
• Gracie Lint made her first career saves for the Huskies in a very strong debut
• Tori Tomalia picked off a Manhattan pass and took it back the other way for her first career goal, as the Huskies scored a season-high 19 goals en route to a tremendous 19-2 victory in Storrs

Of Note: Davis' five goals mark the second time she's eclipsed five this season. The three goals from Clark-Schoeb were the first of her career. Tomalia's goal in the fourth was also the first of her career. The 19 goals as a team were the most scored by UConn this season.
