Track & Field Announces 2025 Outdoor Schedule
STORRS, Conn.- UConn Men's and Women's Track & Field announced their 2025 outdoor schedule today. Both teams come into the season reigning three-time BIG EAST conference champions and will look to retain their grip on the titles this spring.
The Huskies kick off the outdoor season down south in consecutive weekends. UConn opens the season at Georgia Tech in Atlanta in the Yellow Jacket Invite on March 21st- 22nd, before competing in the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State University in North Carolina from March 27th- March 29th.
UConn is back at home in Storrs to begin April for the first of two home meets in the month. The Huskies will host the UConn Dog Fight Invite on April 5th. Before they return home, UConn will compete in the Crimson Tide Invitational on April 11th and the Providence Friar Meet in Rhode Island on April 12th. The second home meet of the month sees the Huskies hosting the Northeast Challenge in Storrs on April 19th. Following the home stand, track & field will travel to the city of brotherly love for the Penn Relays that will take place from April 24-26. The Huskies will wrap up the regular season at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invite in Boston, hosted by Northeastern on May 3rd.
As the season shifts to the postseason, the BIG EAST Championships will be in friendly territory for UConn this year. The Huskies will welcome the conference to Storrs from May 15th- May 17th. NCAA First Rounds will be hosted by North Florida University in Jacksonville, FL from May 28th-31st, with the season concluding in Eugene, Oregon for NCAA Nationals June 11th-14th.
