Maddie Fried Joins UConn WSOC
STORRS, Conn. - UConn women's soccer head coach Margaret Rodriguez announced the addition of midfielder Maddie Fried, a Monroe, Conn. native that will join the Huskies in 2024.
Fried, a 2019 Connecticut High School Player of the Year, makes her return to the Nutmeg state after playing three seasons at Villanova. Fried played in 48 matches and made 35 starts while with the Wildcats. She scored three goals and added a pair of assists.
Fried attended St. Joseph's High School and was an All-American during her CT Player of the Year season. She also earned All-State recognition on three occasions and All-New England twice.
