In hitchhiking, organelles move along microtubules by attaching to motor-driven vesicles at membrane contact sites.About Dr. SalogiannisDr. Salogiannis graduated with a B.S. in Neurobiology and Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2005. He received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Harvard University in 2013 and was a postdoctoral fellow at UCSD from 2014-2021.
