McHugh Hall and Oak Hall
Two of our newest academic buildings not only provide
beautiful, state-of-the-art classroom space within their brick and copper façades, but also are helping UConn reduce its carbon footprint. Both are LEED certified, meaning they were designed with conservation in mind and reach certain standards set by the U.S. Green Building Council. McHugh Hall, which boasts a 6,500-square-foot green roof covered in vegetation, was the first building on campus to achieve LEED Gold status.
