SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – UConn men's basketball senior Samson Johnson has been named to the Naismith Starting 5 - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Top 20 Preseason Watch List. The Abdul-Jabbar award goes to the nation's top center at the conclusion of the regular season. The Basketball Hall of Fame has announced Preseason Watch List members throughout the week.

STORRS, Conn. -  The UConn men's hockey team took down Vermont in a thrilling 6-5 overtime victory Sunday afternoon. The Huskies freshman put on a show, with Ethan Gardula scoring two goals and Kaden Shahan and Ethan Whitcomb scoring one, while Tristan Fraser's goal with 46 seconds remaining in overtime sealed the win for the Huskies.

GENEVA, Ohio – The UConn swimming and diving team continued their success from the previous days on Friday at the Big East Championship meet. Several Huskies took home conference championships and set new school and personal records.

STORRS, Conn.- UConn Director and Head Coach of Cross Country and Track & Field, Beth Alford-Sullivan, has announced the addition of Darryl Sullivan to the coaching staff, pending the successful completion of the university employee onboarding process.
