The workshops will be held in the Student Lounge and food will be provided. We are encouraging students to sign up. In order to earn the certificate, you must attend all workshops.
- Oct 1712:30 PMLevel Up- Husky Life Hacks Certificate ProgramThis certificate program aims to enhance skills in financial literacy, professional communication, and health relationship building. These skills will support students' professional development and are transferable to future educational and career opportunities. To earn the Leveling Up: Husky Life Hacks Certificate, students must attend all three hour-long workshops. However, all students are welcome to attend any or all workshops, regardless of their interest in certification.Workshop Details: 10/8/24 - Students will learn the basics of budgeting and building credit.10/17/24 - Students will practice writing clearly, concisely, and effectively in professional documents tailored to different audiences and purposes. 10/22/24 – Students will identify characteristics of healthy professional and personal relationships. Peer Support Drop-In Hours are a great option for students who have questions about sex and sexual health, are looking for a non-judgmental, laid-back environment to discuss a sex related concern or issue, or are interested in improving their sexual health and personal well-being. Our UConn Sexperts are trained to provide education, support, and connection to resources on and off-campus on a wide variety of topics pertaining to sex, sexual health, and relationships. Mondays: 11:00am-4:00pm Tuesdays: 3:00pm-6:30pm Wednesdays: 10:30am-6:30pm Thursdays: 3:30pm-6:30pm Fridays: 10:30am-5:00pm UConn Sexperts (and supervising staff) are designated confidential employees under UConn's Title IX Reporting Obligations.
