The Wells Fargo Center for Neurodiversity and Inclusive Hiring at UConn is hosting a free workshop teaching companies how to design, build, and implement a neurodiversity initiative within their organizations. The center is working to usher in a new generation of corporate leaders who prioritize inclusion and make it clear that meaningful change is happening here and now. 

This symposium will explore the developments that threaten the news media's ability to function in its historic role as the "Fourth Estate" and will ask whether the law can be used to address these challenges. For example, do the current laws (e.g., defamation, privacy, copyright, broadcast) adequately protect the news media and other parties? Can law be used to reduce media consolidation and address the loss of local media outlets? Can social media be regulated in ways that might help increase public confidence in the news media? How can journalists be better protected from threats to their newsgathering and publication efforts? Can or should there be limits on the ability of wealthy private actors to mute or silence media outlets? What can the news media do, if anything, to restore public confidence? The symposium will address these and other questions.

Delta Tau Delta (ΔΤΔ) was founded on October 18, 1858 at Bethany College in Bethany, Virginia. 

It starts at the Pond House with the physician giving a brief presentation about a health topic. Then the group sets off for a one-mile loop through the park, encouraged to continue the conversation with the physician and future physicians along the way.

Described as "the colorful Mozart of Gen Z" by The New York Times, his radically joyous and genre-bridging discography has led to seven GRAMMY wins and 15 GRAMMY nominations. His fearless approach to music has attracted a plethora of collaborators, including Anoushka Shankar, Quincy Jones, Coldplay, Shawn Mendes, Brandi Carlile, John Mayer, Hans Zimmer, Joni Mitchell, and more.

Join us as we draw inspiration from our exhibition Clouds: A Collaboration with Fluid Dynamics. The program will begin with a reading of Connecticut author and illustrator, Tomie dePaola's The Cloud Book. After the story, we will create our own cloud art using straws instead of paintbrushes!
