Track & Field Opens Indoor Season in Storrs
STORRS, Conn.- The UConn men's and women's track & field teams kick off their 2024-2025 season on Thursday, December 5th and Friday December 6th, as they host the UConn Husky Challenge at the Hugh Greer Field House in Storrs.
Both teams come into the '24-'25 indoor season after their third consecutive indoor/outdoor championship sweep of the BIG EAST. The men won their 22nd conference championship in program history with the outdoor victory last May, with the women taking home their 12th conference championship.
The Huskies will welcome in student-athletes from UMass, UMass Lowell, AIC, Yale, and Northeastern. The meet will span two days, Thursday and Friday. Thursday kicks off with the multi-events. The pentathlon will start at noon and heptathlon will begin at 12:30 pm.
The final three heptathlon events will start Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. Friday's field events will begin at 11:00 AM.

Friday's track events will close out the meet starting at 4pm.

- 60 Meter Dash (Prelim and Final)

- 600 Meter Run
- 300 Meter Dash
- 1000 Meter Run
- 3000 Meter Run
- 4x400 Meter Relay
