Chase Lundt Named HERO Sports G5 All-American
STORRS, Conn. - UConn senior offensive tackle Chase Lundt (Arlington, TX) has been named to the HERO Sports Group of Five All-American team. Lundt was honored as a G5 First Team All-American by the website.
Lundt, who has been invited to the prestigious Reese's Senior Bowl, has been a fixture on the UConn offensive line during all four seasons in Storrs. He has made 48 career starts, missing just one game during his Husky career. The UConn line has put together another strong season in 2024, helping lead a rushing attack that ranks 23rd in the nation in yards per game at 198.3 yards per game. In the passing game, the Huskies protect the quarterback to the tune of allowing just 1.00 sack per game, ranked 13th among the nation's leaders.
He was also recently named to the All-New England All-Star team.
Lundt and the Huskies are preparing to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the 2024 Wasabi Fenway Bowl at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday, December 28.
