Grad_Black STEM is an organization for STEM graduate students who have origins within the African diaspora. We are a tribe that provides a supportive space to connect and network, while developing academically and professionally. We welcome all who align
with the growth and success of our community! We meet regularly on & off UConn Storrs campus for events such as seminars focused on academic development, research, writing, publishing, and navigating the professional world, among others. We also have monthly
research-relief activities such as movie/game nights, cultural day, and short 3-minute lightning talks.
