The mission of this organization shall be to empower South Asian Women through the acknowledgement and support of the unique difficulties and experiences they endure. We will provide the necessary resources, network, and opportunities for students to grow into positive and informed advocates.

Any undergraduate or graduate students are welcomed to become members of SAWEA!

SAWEA Graduation Cord 2026
We’re excited to share that our annual pink graduation cords are back again! If you’re a female graduating this year, this is a great way to celebrate your achievement while supporting an important cause. We are selling pink cords for $10 each, and 50% of all profits will go toward supporting girls’ education in Nepal through the Little Sisters Fund. The Little Sisters Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls in Nepal by providing scholarships, education support, and resources to help them stay in school. Their mission is to give girls the opportunity to break cycles of poverty and build brighter futures through education.
