OVPR Presents 2025 Year in Review
The 2025 fiscal year presented unprecedented changes and challenges to researchers across the country, including UConn’s faculty and students. Through it all, the University remained committed to research excellence, as evident by significant breakthroughs and interdisciplinary collaborations across campuses and UConn Health. UConn made significant contributions in quantum technology, artificial intelligence, national security, medical science, emotional wellness, even the brain’s responses to music and much more.

The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) has captured many of those accomplishments in its 2025 Year in Review. Additionally, the publication highlights how UConn research and innovations are helping to drive the state’s economy and transform the workforce.
